Natural History: Glass Anemone Shrimp may host with an anemone, sea cucumber, mushroom coral, or bubble coral. It picks up stinging mucus from its host organism and becomes coated with it, protecting it from being stung and from predation. It is harmless to its host.
Husbandry: The Glass Anemone Shrimp will thrive best if kept with its host anemone. If it molts, it will leave the anemone temporarily until its shell hardens and then recoats itself with anemone mucus.
