Natural History: The Harlequin Shrimp is found on reefs. It is an exclusive predator on sea stars, especially Chocolate Chip Stars.
Husbandry: The Harlequin Shrimp must be fed sea stars - it will likely feed on nothing else. Nearly any species will suffice. Good filtration is essential since the water may foul when the sea stars die. Larger fish may eat the harlequin shrimp.
