Natural History: The Barnacle Blenny inhabits shallow coastal reefs where it is found in the recesses of vacant tube worm holes. It backs into the holes for safety and darts out to catch passing food items.
Husbandry: The Barnacle Blenny is a hardy aquarium species. It should be housed with peaceful tankmates in an aquarium with numerous hiding places, preferably rocks with holes and tunnels. More than one Barnacle Blenny can be housed per aquarium.
