Natural History: The Tahiti Butterflyfish is found in lagoons, reef faces, and reef slopes. It is observed singly, in pairs, and in small groups.
Husbandry: The Tahiti Butterflyfish is a hardy species that does well in aquaria. It acclimates best with peaceful tankmates, but can hold its own if more aggressive fish are added later. It should be fed a varied diet.
