Reef Safe: Yes Care Level: Moderate Temperament: Caution Diet: These corals have zooxanthellae which provide much of their nutrition. It is believed they also feed on microzooplankton and directly absorb some nutrients from the water. Natural History: Podabacia is a rare genus in Fungiidae of the Indian and Pacific Oceans. It is fixed and colonial as an adult, growing in plate-like colonies. Husbandry: Podabacea is less able to purge itself of sedimant and so should be located on rocky areas of an aquarium. | ||||
