Natural History: Bird's Nest Corals are found in a variety of moderate-depth reef locations where moderate to low water flow is present. They grow in an unmistakable pattern that includes intertwining skeletal branches. Branches may grow together and fuse. Colors range from browns and pinks to yellows and creams.
Husbandry: Bird's Nest Coral is considered a good reef tank coral. It can even grow in dimly-lit tanks if it is fed sufficient microplankton. It required high water quality and may be damaged by strong water flow. It can be propagated by fragmentation.
