Natural History: The Orange Paddle Sponge is normally found on reef faces with strong laminar water flow. It grows in deeper reef zones where light levels are not high.
Husbandry: It does not tolerate directed water from a powerhead well. It prefers dim light and may be harmed by bright light. It is toxic and may crash an aquarium if it is allowed to die.
