Natural History: Cerith Snails are commonly found on sandy reef bottoms. They can be found in massive aggregations on reefs. They will plow through the sediment to feed on it and digest the detritus that they swallow.
Husbandry: Cerith Snails benefit an aquarium by foraging through and aerating the sand. They require a deep sand bend to explore for food.
