It is most common in areas with high algae densities. Husbandry: The Lawnmower Blenny is a voracious feeder on hair algae. It scrapes the algae and detritus off of rocks. It may be aggressive with members of its own species but tolerates other species very well in a community tank. It should be provided live rock to provide the algae needed to supplement its diet.
