Natural History: The Rippled Rockskipper is found on clear outer reef crests that are rich in coral growth. It favors areas rich in algae growth.
Husbandry: The Rippled Rockskipper is generally unaggressive with tankmates except for other blennies. An aquarium with live rock and a healthy growth of algae should be provided for this species. It is reported to nip at the polyps of Acropora and Montipora corals. It should be housed with peaceful tankmates.
