The shrimp digs a burrow that the goby rests in, with head protruding, watching the area. At times, two gobies may occupy a single burrow. In case of danger, the goby recedes along with the shrimp into the burrow. Husbandry: The Splendid Shrimp Goby is a benthic fish that peacefully coexists with most other species except gobies like itself. It may be aggressive with other bottom-dwelling gobies. This fish, along with its host shrimp, is an excellent addition to a sand-bottom reef tank. AKA: Beautiful Cheek Prawn Goby | ||||
