Natural History: The Bicolor Blenny is found on clear lagoon and seaward reefs mixed with coral and rocks. It favors areas rich in rock with heavy algae growth.
Husbandry: The Bicolor Blenny is generally unaggressive with tankmates except for other blennies. It is reported to move sand in an aquarium to create a refuge area beneath a rock. The Bicolor Blenny may pick at Tridacna clam mantles and stony coral polyps. It should be provided with live rock and numerous hiding places. It may harass other blennies, gobies, and dartfish.
