Natural History: The Sargassum Trigger is found on reef slopes where it is often quite abundant Its name comes from the preference of the juvenile sargassum trigger for Sargussum. Adults are found individually or in small groups.
Husbandry: The Sargassum Trigger will likely become more aggressive with size and age. It should only be housed with other moderately aggressive fish.
