Natural History: The Emerald Blenny is a benthic inhabitant of rocky intertidal pools. It is actually not a blenny, but instead a triplefin that prefers slightly cooler water than many marine fish.
Husbandry: The Emerald Blenny is an excellent candidate for a reef aquarium. Because if its small size it should be housed with peaceful tankmates that cannot eat it. Live rock will provide the appropriate refuges and food for this species. They are aggressive only with other Emerald Blennies.
