Natural History: The Tiger Goby is found in sandy reef areas and shallow lagoons.
Husbandry: The Tiger Goby should be housed in an aquarium with live rock to provide both hiding places and food. A refugium will help to produce the types of copepods that this species will feed on. This goby will sift though the sand to find its prey. This goby is territorial and will likely behave aggressively toward other Tiger Gobies, but only rarely with other benthic fish.
