It is most often observed in pairs or loose groups on reefs. Husbandry: The Yellowbelly Alleni Damsel is a durable aquarium fish but aggressive also. This species is aggressive with other smaller damsels, especially Chrysiptera sp. Young fish are successful tankmates but older individuals must be separated.
