Adults are usually solitary and juveniles usually occur in small groups. Juveniles are observed in groups in association with sea fans and soft corals. Husbandry: The Golden Damsel is somewhat aggressive and more suitable for larger tanks with moderately aggressive tankmates. This species grows larger than many of its close damsel relatives, so it requires a larger aquarium.
