Natural History: The Desjardin Sailfin Tang is generally found in lagoons and seaward reefs. Adults are usually observed in pairs, whereas juveniles are generally associated with staghorn corals in sheltered areas.
Husbandry: The Desjardin Sailfin Tang is the least aggressive of the Zebrasoma tangs although it may be aggressive toward its own species or other Zebrasoma tangs. It should be housed singly.
