Natural History: The Chinese Zebra Bar Goby is a schooling species that is found on seaward reefs with rock or coral bottoms. It is generally found in large groups in fairly shallow water with strong current. Juveniles lack the vertical bars that adults possess.
Husbandry: The Chinese Zebra Bar Goby is generally peaceful and not aggressive toward other fish, and should be kept with other peaceful species. Once acclimated, it spends most of its time suspended motionless in the water column or actively swimming about an aquarium.
