It commonly found near different types of soft corals. It aggregates with other flasher wrasse species. Males are observed to be territorial with their own and other species. Husbandry: Carpenter's Wrasses are shy during acclimation but males become more aggressive once they have completed acclimation. It is a hardy aquarium species.
