It often forms large shoals and mixed feeding groups with other fairy wrasses The males often display for females or even other males. Husbandry: Lineatus Fairy Wrasses are hardy wrasses in aquaria. Smaller individuals acclimate more readily than larger ones. They should only be placed with peaceful tankmates. They should not be placed in a community tank with other planktivores such as dottybacks or anthias/pseudanthias since the Lineatus Fairy Wrasse may not feed adequately.
