Natural History: The Yellowchest Twist Wrasse is usually found individually over clear coral and rubble lagoons and reef faces. Adults are solitary. Juveniles may swim in an unusual head-down manner to possibly dissuade potential predators.
Husbandry: The Yellowchest Twist Wrasse is difficult to maintain in captivity, and may refuse to feed. Providing a live-rock environment may aid in acclimation and survival. Only one male should be housed per aquarium.
