Natural History: Muriceopsis forms tall colonies with numerous branches. Muriceopsis will shed its outer layer and reveal sections of stalk that resemble dead zones.
Husbandry: Aquarists have reported negative impacts on neighboring corals when Muriceopsis is too close.
