Natural History: The Squat Lobster Crab is a very small crustacean that may be found as a hitchhiker on live rock or coral. They are normally commensalistic on crinoids on reefs. They live on the crinoids and eat foods that the crinoids catch.
Husbandry: The Squat Lobster Crab does not require a crinoid to survive. They readily adapt to aquarium life and eat a variety of frozen foods. They should be kept singly in aquaria because they are aggressive with one another.
