Natural History: Red Spiny Lobsters are found in high water flow areas on coral reefs. Although they have large claws, they primarily scrape algae and debris from rocks and sand for food.
Husbandry: The Red Spiny Lobster prefers high water flow and is an opportunistic feeder. It is harmless to most animals in a reef aquarium. It is a nocturnal species.
