General Information: The grammas are a small group, encompassing only 11 species in 2 genera. They reach a maximum size of about 4 inches, have an incomplete or absent lateral line (organ of hearing), and are often found on deep slopes on rubble bottoms.
Diet: Most species are zooplankton feeders.
Final Note: The genus Lipogramma is generally a deepwater group that may require dim light. They are territorial and generally only one gramma per tank is recommended.
