Natural History: The Red Scooter Blenny is found in protected reef areas with rubble and rocky bottoms.
Husbandry: The Red Scooter Blenny may be housed with other Scooter Blennies as long as only one male is in the aquarium. It may be harassed by other aggressive fish. It eats live food, or anything small that appears so. A refugium, live rock, and hair algae contribute to producing the type of food that this species prefers.
