Natural History: The Spotted Blenny is found on coastal reef flats where algae growth is high. It hides in holes in rock and rubble at any sign of danger, and at night.
Husbandry: Only one Spotted Blenny should be housed per tank. They should be housed with peaceful tankmates. A growth of filamentous algae provides an excellent food source for this species. It is reported to possibly nip at stony corals and clam mantles.
