Natural History: Adult Flavirostris Butterflies are found on coral and rocky reefs. Juveniles are observed in estuaries, bays, harbors, and lagoons. It is usually observed in pairs. Large adults have much more striking colors than juveniles.
Husbandry: The Flavirostris Butterfly is reported to be challenging to acclimate. If possible, it should be kept in pairs or small groups, in aquaria with numerous hiding places. This species is reported to be shy and should only be housed with peaceful tankmates.
