Natural History: The Banded Circus Goby is found on rocky reef areas, often hiding in recesses and caves. It is observed swimming upside-down in refuges.
Husbandry: The Banded Circus Goby should be housed in an aquarium with numerous pieces of live rock which will provide the hiding places and food that it prefers. It should be housed with peaceful tankmates. Because of its small size, it should not be housed with piscivorous tankmates. It is reported to heartily feed on frozen shrimp preparations.
