Natural History: The Pyle's Fairy Wrasse is found around rocky outcroppings around sand or rubble slopes. This species exhibits some color variation among different populations.
Husbandry: Pyle's Fairy Wrasse is peaceful and should be housed with other unaggressive species. This species is less prone to stress when moved first acclimating to an aquarium. They often feed within one day of new tank introduction. The male's colors may fade somewhat if females are absent or if the aquarium is not brightly lit.
