Natural History: The Gold Head Sleeper Goby is found on seaward reef slopes on hard and soft bottoms. It is usually found in monogamous pairs, which both occupy the same burrow. It feeds by sifting mouthfuls of sand.
Husbandry: The Gold Head Sleeper Goby is reported to be very disease resistant. It is also a peaceful fish that will likely only be aggressive with other sleeper gobies.
