Natural History: The Warpaint Goby is associated with corals reefs rich in branching corals and it is commensalistic with Acropora. It is reported to be monogamous.
Husbandry: The Warpaint Goby is a peaceful species that will likely only be aggressive with other Gobiodon gobies. Only one should be kept per aquarium.
Reproduction: Warpaint Gobies have been bred in captivity. Eggs are laid and become protected as they fall among the branches of Acropora corals.
