Natural History: The Blue Fin Watchman goby is found on sandy areas on inner reef slopes. One or two watchman gobies may pair with a single Alpheus shrimp. The gobies stand guard at the burrow entrance while the shrimp builds it.
Husbandry: The Blue Fin Watchman Goby is a peaceful community fish but will likely be aggressive toward other watchman gobies. It will likely acclimate better if allowed to pair with a pistol shrimp in captivity.
